Privacy Policy

Como Natural Medicine's Privacy Policy has been developed in accordance with Australia's ten National Privacy Principles. For more information on the Privacy Principles, visit www.privacy.gov.au.

1. Como Natural Medicine will only collect information about the client that is relevant to the service being undertaken, the particular medical complaints being treated and the processing of the client's account.
2. Clients' information will be disclosed to other Como Natural Medicine practitioners and staff, where appropriate, in order to administer their treatment and process their account. Their personal information will not be passed on to parties outside of Como Natural Medicine.
3. Como Natural Medicine ensures that it only collects and records accurate and current personal information.
4. Como Natural Medicine keeps its clients' records secure and safe from unauthorised access or disclosure.
5. Como Natural Medicine displays its Privacy Policy on its website and will provide a copy on request to any client or interested party.
6. Como Natural Medicine clients are welcome at any time to access their personal information in order to correct anything that may not be current, complete or accurate. They can do this by contacting reception.
7. In keeping with national privacy laws, Como Natural Medicine does not use identifiers issued by government agencies to organise clients' information. (Note that ABNs are not considered to be such indentifiers under privacy law.)
8. Como Natural Medicine respects our clients' right to remain anonymous, where possible/practical and when lawful, in their transactions with the centre.
9. Clients of Como Natural Medicine can rest assured that their information will not be conveyed to parties outside Australia.
10. Como Natural Medicine will only collect sensitive information about clients when this information is relevant to their therapy/treatment.
